Illuminated - The right Alpha Vane is not heated.
Angle–of–Attack
The right Alpha Vane is located by the Aux Pitot probe on the
right side of the forward fuselage. The vane measures airplane
angle–of–attack relative to the air mass.
Alpha Vanes send a signal to the SMYD (Stall Management Yaw
Damper) computers to determine when stall warning is required
based upon alpha vane angle of attack outputs.
