System B Flight Control Switch
STBY RUD -
Activates standby hydraulic system pump and opens standby
rudder shutoff valve to pressurize standby rudder power control
unit. The Yaw Damper Switch moves to OFF, the amber YAW
DAMPER light illuminates and the YAW DAMPER switch cannot be
reset to ON.
OFF -
Closes flight control shutoff valve isolating ailerons, elevators and
rudder from associated hydraulic system pressure. The Yaw
Damper Switch moves to OFF, the amber YAW DAMPER light
illuminates and the YAW DAMPER switch cannot be reset to ON.
ON (guarded position) -
Normal operating position.
