Alternate Flaps Master Switch

OFF (guarded position) –

Normal operating position.

OFF (guard open) - The Alternate Flaps Master Switch must be
manually switched to ARM.

ARM –

  • Closes the Trailing Edge Flap Bypass Valve.

  • Activates the Standby Hydraulic Pump.

  • Arms the ALTERNATE FLAPS position switch.
