Command Engage (CMD ENGAGE) Switch (A or B):

- Engages A/P.
- Enables all command modes.
- Displays CMD in A/P status display.
- Pushing an engage switch for second A/P, while not in
approach mode, engages second A/P and disengages first
A/P.
- Enables CWS operation
- CWS engages if:
Option - CWS deactivated on approach
After localizer and glideslope capture during a dual autopilot approach
CWS cannot be engaged by manually overriding pitch and roll. Manual
override of autopilots causes autopilot disengagement.
- Pitch or roll mode is not selected.
- Pitch or roll mode is deselected.
- Pitch or roll mode is manually overridden with control
column force.
