MCP FMA (Flight Mode Annunciator) Annunciations
Pitch, roll, autothrottle and autopilot status is shown on the Flight Mode Annunciator as
selected or armed on the MCP. A rectangle is drawn around each mode for a period of 10
seconds after each engagement.
Modes that are armed for automatic engagement are displayed in white letters beneath the
active mode.
