WINDOW HEAT Test Switch (spring–loaded to neutral)
OVHT – Simulates an overheat condition.
PWR TEST – Provides a confidence test.
The power test verifies operation of the window heat system. The
test may be accomplished when any of the window heat ON lights
are extinguished and the associated WINDOW HEAT switch is ON.
The extinguished ON light will illuminate during a successful test.
Note: Do not perform the power test when all ON lights are
illuminated.
OVHT – Simulates an overheat condition.
- All OVERHEAT lights illuminate.
- ON lights may extinguish immediately or remain on for as
long as 70 seconds.
- Reset by momentarily positioning the Window Heat switch to
OFF.
PWR TEST – Provides a confidence test.
- Controller is forced to full power, bypassing the normal
temperature control.
- Overheat protection is still available.
