Fuel Flow
Fuel flow is measured after passing through the engine fuel shutoff valve and is
displayed on the respective Display Unit (DU). Fuel flow information is also provided to the
Flight Management System.
During engine start initial fuel flow indications lag actual fuel flow by approximately two
seconds, therefore an EGT rise may occur before fuel flow indication.
Option - Over / Under Display
The Fuel Flow switch positions react in the same manner as the Side by Side option. Fuel
flow is displayed in digital readouts only. All digital readouts are enclosed by boxes.
The display options are LBS or KG in Side by Side and Over / Under format.
Note that the KG or LB symbol and differentiation between RATE and USED is
not displayed in the Over / Under format.
